Rolling Around
Rolling around on their back puts them in a vulnerable position, so take it as a compliment if fluffy does it in front of you! You have earned his trust and he feels safe around you. A roll on the floor indicates that he is attempting to engage you in some light play.
Oh, you’re going to use that?
Your cat loves to lay on magazines, computers, books, clothes you’ve laid out—you name it—at the exact moment you’re using it. Your cat knows that if he plops himself down on whatever you’re watching, he’ll almost certainly get some affection.
He is also leaving his scent on your belongings, as a way to claim his territory that you are indeed his.
Get Rid of It!
Your cat starts batting stuff off the table for no apparent reason, then calmly watches it fall to the floor. As a cat owner, this can be a bothersome behavior, but rest assured that your feline companion is not attempting to annoy you.
You know how cats are known for their curiosity? It’s as simple as that- he’s curious and possibly bored! Although this is fun for him, if you wish to break him of this bad habit, you should try engaging him with some new toys.
Tails that twitch
You’re watching your cat go about her business around the house when you notice a twitch near the tip of her tail. Is that typical? Yes! It most certainly is, and it could indicate that your cat is excited or concentrated. When your cat is “hunting prey” around the home, this is what normally happens. The twitching of your cat’s tail should stop once he or she has calmed down.
